Aker Kvaerner said today it has won a design and construction contract from CNR International for work on the Balmoral floating production vessel in the outer Moray Firth basin.
Aker Kvaerner said the work will involve the installation of additional equipment on the Balmoral floating production vessel to enable gas processing from the Brenda field.
The company said the new facilities will also provide additional capacity for the Balmoral field itself.
