The guy who worked with NEC for NXT right from the get go said they put their success in going from no 4 to no 1 in Japan in this area down to SoundVu because it worked , saved space, sounded very good but crucialy gave them differentiality.
He also went on to tell Tony thre has been a re-surgance of interest in the tech for OUTSIDE Japan as margins in LCD's computors ect have become so slim (2% to 3%)that manufacturers are desperately seeking differentiality in order to gain not only market share but to achieve some reasonable margins.Tony said he did appear very very excited at what is in the wings.
Certainly was nice to get feedback that far from pulling back on NXT, NEC are very much pro NXT so lots to look forward to from them I think.
