NXT: One of the big potential risers of 2006? 3M & others could make it happen

Still essentially it is a conventional loudspeaker footprint but uses the NXT bending wave technology to generate the sound. Manufacture methods apparently can be similiar to those used in current speakers whilst the footprint suggests it could be a sort of slot in replacement to conventional (same real estate need) - although I guess the electrical interface would differ. Seems frequency response is wide meaning high and low frequency transducers not needed as they are for conventional speakers. Potentailly if the advantages claimed are agreed by OEM's etc this could well become the transducer of choice for many if not all of the conventional uses of speakers. If that occured then NXT would have most of the speaker market for novel application (where current speakers can't support) and the conventional market. Whatever its looking interesintg and may be lucratve for the comapany and holders. NXT seem so bullish on BMR that there must be something in it as they don't seem like snakeoil guys
