Holly Bush,
Yes auto OEM's do push people over the brink, and are very aggresive in doing this. They can do this when there are a number of suppliers able to supply exactly the same thing to the same quality and technical specification. This is why auto parts suppliers are always looking for technologies that are patent protected, that give them some sort of advantage for which the OEM is willing to pay - just the sort of thing that NXT are able to deliver it seems. NXT are not the parts supplier.
OEM's always respect IP law, and always pay up on royalties if they cannot get the same thing from somewhere else. They also put a lot of effort and expense into approving a particular technology for their vehicle. And when something is approved, it gets used, and increasingly so. It is on the begining of the S curve.
And HH, you cant have it both ways. You say on the one hand that NXT is rubbish and doesnt sound good, and then say that it is rubbish becasue it is in an audio UPGRADE package. Sounds illogical captain.
NXT technology is becomming increasingly avaiable, known, liked and used, and will appear increasingly in all sorts of interesting appications. Shorters beware
