Owens Corning Automotive has announced its new Acoustimax™ substrate that the company claims is structurally and acoustically sound for vehicle interiors. The material is a new lightweight glass-mat composite that can meet structural and acoustical requirements in applications such as headliners, trunk liners, door modules, seat backs, and package trays.
