NXT: One of the big potential risers of 2006? 3M & others could make it happen

By extracting and separating individual paragraphs from the body of my postings and using them to suit your own argument is hardly a way of making a point.

My post 3652 to LISA pointed out that Hedgy had taken advantage of an NXT management weakness in not identifying what announcements might/will have to its bottom line. Even the Motley Fool comments to this effect today saying “Many private investors continue to back 'old' techs such as such as NXT (LSE: NTX), Trafficmaster (LSE: TFC) and Stanelco (LSE: SEO). But these firms have been around for years and consistent sales and earnings growth remain as elusive as ever”.

If anything I was making a sideways compliment to Hedgy for highlighting and taking advantage an obvious weakness in NXT’s armory. But I did end with a comment about possible changes being in the pipe-line.

Neither of my paragraphs gives even the hint of what you describe as a “MOAN”.

And I know just how difficult it is to put numbers to some of the announcements which have been made. But when you have a company like NXT which has failed to deliver and whose share price is vulnerable, it is vital to try to identify and put a handle on what the potential actually is, when a license is awarded to a new customer. Are you trying to tell me NXT goes out and blindly awards licenses to new companies without trying to ascertain the dimension of usage and scope of the market and what it might mean to it? If they are, then as shareholders we really do have a major problem!

I am not asking for trading updates or figures but for a statement to be made with major license announcements and use of their technology identifying the scope of the market and potential outlet uses.

It would help everyone to get an idea of the progress NXT is making and when NXT might make a profit..
