NXT: One of the big potential risers of 2006? 3M & others could make it happen

Sadly flat panels don't do the job when it comes to raw power. Without being able to move big bits of air - a la normally actuated speaker solutions, they really can't cut it. This is why NXT were lucky that multimedia systems needed subwoofers!( I notice there aren't many flat panel subwoofers?)

Anyway, my mate just came in and pissed himself laughing: "Radiates in all directions? What the f*ck am I supposed to fix it to then?" LOL!

They may not be up to the job if you want backing for air guitar practice, but the awards they've gained show they do very well in most applications.

I realise now that my expertise in acoustics pales in comparison with your mate's. I'll leave the technical stuff to you guys in future.
