Mattd1 - Have you really held these since 1995? I held in Verity days and can see why youre tired. Surely you sold in 1999/2000. What did you think when they went up £5 in a morning in 1999?
That the market makers finally had a grip on the reality that was NXT's potential.Or Halleluyah, there is a God - Thankyou. (My reaction - I couldnt see the sense but I wasnt criticising the mm's then). And no, Lisa, you are right, I didnt sell at the top at £23, but I was very happy with what I got on the way back down.
Oh for the vapour of 99/00 that you refer to Matt.
They were nowhere near then, but this is not the time to lose faith. In Verity terms (1995) these are at 12p (What did you buy at? - in 1997 they were at 30p). Your P/e of 56 means three quarters of a million profit, and then P/e of 14 means three million. They are on the verge now in a way they never were in 1999,or 1995, and as you know the market can overvalue on the way up.
Good Luck to you Matt - I genuinely hope your money finds a better home than it has for the last few years.(Try AVG, a very different share and shameless ramp with all the usual provisos -IMHO etc.).
For the record my Verity/NXT profits are back in these.
Good Luck to all (Continuing) long term holders, sorry to see you go Matt.
