Tree-shake or another tranche of Institutional sale in the wings? Either way this is not a share to watch on a daily basis - its just too bloody irritating.
As we are about to hit the New Year could I invite fellow posters to:
(1)Predict the 2004 closing Footsie and
(2)give their three best performing shares for next year (other than nsb).
I saw in the paper recently that the average Institutional prediction for (1) was 4400 - poor dabs, they've got it so painfully wrong over the last few years they cannot bring themselves to be optimistic once again so as sure as eggs is eggs they'll be wrong again. I go for 5250.
As to (2) my tips (all of which I hold of course so its hardly objective) are
EPO,THUS and CKSN. All three are tech/telecom sector which I see as outperforming again next year and possibility of a bid adds a little spice to two of them.
Anyone else got anything interesting?
Incidentally, given the nature of nsb punters there is no need to worry about being embarrassed at the end of the year as most people on the thread now wont be here in 12 months time anyway!
Happy New Year all.
