I work for a company with 2000 outlets that use NSB till system.
I was questioning if the till system will be change in the new year for the change to card with pin.
Until the 24th I was told that probably it will only be a small extention of the curant till.
On the 24th I am then told that everybody will be trained on a new till system end of January.
I do not know if this retailer will keep using NSB.
A posble issue for NSB was the task ahead as in just one year lots of retaillers have to update their till system. The deal with BT will mean that BT will have to put all the effort to have enought people to deal with all the possible contracts. Probably quite fews contracts were suspended to NSB finding a big partner able to garanty the maintenance of the software.
If NSB can get it right they will be able to get great rewards with reduce cost.
