* Northern Petroleum listed on AIM in 1995 and the present management team
came on board in 1999. They are pursuing their strategy of building an
integrated exploration and production company at controlled risk exposures.

* In July 2002 the Company disposed of the Seven Heads and Galley Head
ventures in the Irish Sea to Ramco Energy Plc netting #2million in cash and
294,118 shares in Ramco (#1 million on issue date) for a company with a current
market capital of #3.2 million.

* Award of exploration licences in 5 UK sites including Hampshire, Isle of
Wight and Sussex with two wells expected in 2003.

* Further exploration activity in Italy, Spain and an option on gas
production in Peru.
