Northern Foods - a Tasty Choice!

Afternoon all;

Just watching to see where we all and up, but it would seem that in order my three highest percentage gainers at year end will be ARU, CCP and NFDS and 3 losers BFC, FER and SBT, with only CCp of these crystallised. Excellent last week and happy going forward. The definate winner has been my broker.

Fh./aleman; thanks for that. It has been a steep learning curve for me this year, and information is definately power, (once analysed). I have been a bit overwhelmed by just how much is out there, but having decided i wish to be master of my own destiny, the days when i bought my first share (Thorn Lighting Group) and just checked Saturday's Times (Telegraph now!) for the sp are well and truly behind me. I am so pleased Aleman, thast the Christmas spirit has sprinkled down on your household, with partner and canine friend perking up.

I have a couple of Xmas errands to run, Cars DVD for the kids, (which was 'out of stock' at HMV online), a bottle of Brown Brothers Orange Muscat dessert wine, and a packet of honey roasted parsnips, so all in all not to much shopping stress to be incurred. Starting to feel very Christmassy, especially when a neighbour, whom some would probably describe as weird/hermit-like popped a present round for our children last nite; its probably an old model train or something, but it was the way he said "the whole family have discussed it, and we would like to give this to your children" that really touched us, especially as we're only really on nodding terms; conversely we will be thinking of a elderly neighbour who 2 weeks ago lost his wife of 40 odd years, who must be desperately lonely. One doesn't want to intrude with tea and sympathy, but we hope he will 'come across' for tea or sherry as in previous years. It always seems so cruel when warm, kind and friendly people are dealt a hammer blow, especially at this time of year...

Finally before i send you all for the 'OFF' button, may I thank you all for your encouragement, support and advice, and for allowing this stray cat into your home, and especially to you MRP, facilitator extrodanaire, for being the conduit of all that is so uplifting about this thread.
