NIce Yield and Upside from 490p ?

Just passing and saw the mention of using quick growing wood. Is that wood Willow ? I have read before that it grows so quickly, that in a properly managed plantation(if near enough to the powerstation) they can make it pay. I think that once harvested, the regrowth only takes a year before those new shoots can be harvested again.

I don't know what the equation is to size of plantation to crop yield but there is info on the web about it. With loads of farms not being able to make livestock pay, maybe they will convert over to forestry ?
