Chairman and Non-executive Director - Senator David Johnston

Mr Johnston, from Australia, has a law degree from the University of Western Australia. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia, and has been a barrister and solicitor since 1981.

From 1985 to 1999 he was a member of the Australian Mining and Petroleum Lawyers Association. Senator Johnston has also had extensive experience in the political business arena. He is a former president of the Kalgoorlie/Boulder Chamber of Commerce and has been a legal practitioner to the mining industry on the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia for the past 20 years.

He is a past State President of the Liberal Party of Western Australia and is currently Senator in the Australian Senate.
