"The kimberlites range up to 1000m X 200m in size and are covered by 3m to 27m

of overburden. Twenty-nine of these kimberlites have been sampled in the past

with sample sizes ranging from six cubic meters to 154 cubic meters. Five of

the kimberlites were found to contain diamonds with a total of 20 diamonds

being recovered. At least two of the kimberlites exhibit multi-phase

intrusions. Alluvial diamonds were recovered in the river Sonde which drains

one of the kimberlites".
