Thought this was an extremely interesting snippet, although NML haven't highlighted, though imo relative .....
Charles Fipke has stated this past year that he believes a significant diamond discovery is going to come out of Greenland. Much of his attention with Metalex (TSXV: V.MTX) has turned to this region and following a sampling program in 2005 he made the following comments through Metalex, "No previous exploration sample, including more than 9,000 from the Ekati claim block, has produced as many high-quality (Cr2O3/CaO ratio) G10 garnets as either of the two Greenland samples."
Ekati was discovered by Fipke and it is now operated by BHP Billiton. Ekati produces nearly 4% of current world diamond production by weight and 6% by value.
The Hudson Resources property in Greenland is in the immediate vicinity of the Metalex property and while Charles Fipke hopes he will make the first commercial diamond discovery in Greenland, Hudson is achieving much more impressive exploration results.
