One cant help but wonder about the newmont thing. If you read the interview our chum goes to great lengths to emphasise what chums they all still are, and that he has poached a couple of their senior exploration staff. Now I may be a vengeful old git (it has been mentioned) but if I had been unable to agree terms with a potential suitor, and then poached a couple of his staff mates wouldnt really be in it. Do you think he was trying to say (without saying it) that newmont have just poped out to do some shopping elsewhere and they have left their minders in the joint to ensure that they know what goes on while they get their hair cut ready for the wedding.
