The future of Oil Shale
Tomco realizes that the United States must find additional and alternative sources of oil in order to satisfy the ever-increasing need for energy.
Uncertainty in the Middle East and the growth of China, India and other countries continue to strain current U.S. production capabilities. The time is perfect for a forward-thinking company like Tomco to create tremendous shareholder value through their exploration and production efforts.
The United States Government has implemented tax and other incentives for Oil Shale exploration and is now actively seeking production alternatives for Oil Shale. Tomco’s strategy of exploring and producing from traditional oil resources while holding its oil shale assets should create a company with solid short and long-term potential.
Presently Shell Oil and other major companies are developing economically feasible ways of producing oil from oil shale. Shell Oil’s In-situ Conversion Process (ICP), shown below, obtains 3.5 units of energy for every 1 unit of energy expended.
TomCo believes that within six to ten (6-10) years there will be techniques available to the company to extract oil shale from its properties at an approximate cost of $30 per barrel.

TomCo Energy Plc is an Isle of Man company, listed on the London AIM market, with oil holdings in the United States.
Our company holds significant strategic Oil Shale reserves in the Green River Formation of Utah. Recent geological reports received by the company have shown that these oil shale leases have projected oil reserves of approximately 200 million barrels.
Today, Tomco's main corporate focus is building oil production projects throughout the United States. This will be the company's main objective over the next 3-5 years.
