Have seen a lot of punters buying Mytravel lately, mainly in my opinion due to the low price - 5 - 6p
This is no basis for investing in a share. Through information publicly available, once the restructuring process occurs, and the debt is swapped for equity, with the equity holders getting only 2% of the company, the current share price of 5.5p gives an implied market cap of £750 million - just shy of First Choices value ...
First Choice are a very well run company with no debt and recent profits of over £100 million, I'm afraid you can't say the same for Mytravel.
Do your own research, but I would guess the company is worth less than half what First choice is ... around 2p a share in its current form.
