According to today's Telegraph those currently on holiday will be refunded for the remainder of the holiday lost. Those that have not yet left for the affected areas will be offered alternative holidays or a refund.
Clearly some of these losses will be shared between the insurance companies and the holiday companies.
How this will affect the shareprice is difficult to call. Whilst there is clearly loss of profit it might also mean that previously unsold holidays for this time of year will now be sold.
