The iii Annual Awards – 2003
2003 has been a good year for many of the regulars on iii, and in acknowledging this fact the board have decided to make several awards to one or two of the “characters” that post messages on this particular bulletin board.
Sadly one or two posters have sought to attack others messages throughout the year. Similarly it has been quite noticeable that several of the ”lurkers” have been seen of late slagging off the regulars for not keeping to the topic and not posting news! If there is no news, and there is nothing topical to discuss then it’s difficult to make things up although one or two posters have tried throughout the year.
The special awards are as follows:
SICK OF THE DRIVEL AWARD – goes to Alanbaxter1 for continually posting about this but compounded the problem by posting nothing but drivel!
Alan finished the year 1330th in the favourites league.
DAFTEST POST OF THE YEAR AWARD – goes to madback. Any poster who asks fellow investors in British Energy to leave their lights on to help boost the share price is clearly grasping at straws. madback has posted twenty messages on the trot on the MyTravel BB that have no content whatsoever and are just personal abuse. This on a BB that he doesn’t own any shares in.
madback ends the year as 446th in the favourites league.
I DON’T GET PAID TO DO THIS AWARD – goes to JakNife who tried to trick a few by going through a mid career crisis changing his name from KevenRTaylor. JakNife has spent 24x7 posting in depth messages about MyTravel. He has a database of who has posted what, where and when. It’s not only on MyTravel by the way if you click the profile and see where else he has posted and logged thousands of messages. Are these the actions of somebody that isn’t paid to do the job? I think not.
JakNife ends the year as 198th in the favourites league.
GOT THE HUMP AWARD – goes without a doubt to cheesey feet for his humourless rants throughout the year. Chocks away ;-) and ready for takeoff cheesey feet ready for the challenges of 2004. A leg end in his own mind without a doubt.

STAND UP COMEDIAN AWARD – goes without a doubt to Nadim123. Love him or hate him he does make you laugh with some of his comments and “wild” share price targets. Some classics posted through the year. Well done Nadim and keep it up people have made thousands of pounds doing the exact opposite of what you said do.
Nadim123 finished the year as 85th in the favourites league. A creditable performance reflecting the humour of his posts ;-)
I NEED HELP AWARD – * Public Enemy * . There was only one person shortlisted ;-)
Public enemy didn’t figure in any favourites league!
In closing The Lord of Bullock Smithy would like to announce his retirement from iii after a few years of fun. This will hopefully give those doom mongers and their sycophants chance to rant on at somebody else during 2004, or hopefully they could learn to keep their vitriolic outburst to themselves.
No matter what you post and how you post it please remember not everybody will agree with you. Indeed if that was the case there would be no point posting.
