Interesting piece - many thanks. But I would hardly say that 'it's the type-45's for which MSI's defence systems are deployed'! MSI's defence division (which is 35-40% of turnover) does a vast range of work for over 40 navies round the world, and they have several different contracts from the Royal Navy. If two of the eight Type-45's are scrapped the long-term value of the latest large contract may be affected - but the cost was spread over the years anyway. The quality of their gun-systems is well known and navies will want them for many years to come. It may well be the cause of Friday's drop but if so it looks rather an over-reaction to me.
