Also, people tend to punt more than they can afford which causes huge problems for them when the market goes the wrong way.
However, since mine are all paid for - I use the cash realised by the 'sale' from one broker to another to hedge my position.
Futher if I had originally paid 6p for my shares (which I didn't), then I could offset the difference in my original purchase price (6p) and my 'sale' price(4.5p) and roll that loss forward (1.5p x 1M shares) to the next year in my investment trading account.
