It is not the cable companies who are saying that they are talking, it is MMD. MMD say they are talking to the cable companies not the other way round. "We are talking to..." is an old salesman's ploy to cover up a lack of orders. It means very little. I could ring up IBM, Cisco, Microsoft and says that I am talking to the biggest computer companies about my products. The phone calls may only last a short while, but it is true none the less. Where are the announcements that the cable companies are testing MMD's products. I can see no reason why either party in the potential relationship shpuld be shy about it. Viseon have named a number of cable companies so an NDA does not seem to eb a problem. Are MMD shy as they may have been turned down by cable companies.
