Oh dear or dear, yet another disgruntled ex-safeway employee. It must be galling for some of them to see their former underperforming Safeway stores now bursting at the seems with happy, contented higher-spending customers. The figures speak for themselves.
Regarding the store sell-offs it shows that the old Morrisons culture is alive and well. They will not trade in locations where they cannot see the potential for good profit. This does not mean that more wholesale sell-offs are in the pipeline, simply that they are fine-tuning their store portfolio.
