She was big & fat,
Stank like a rat,
But I loved her,
For all that.
She had hazel eyes,
& To my surprise,
Returned my love,
Became my dove,
& I loved her.
She cost me a bomb,
She never used a comb,
Sat in the corner all alone,
& Dribbled on the carpet,
Just so that she could mark it,
Boy did I love her.
She loved fun & games,
But she really was lame,
She also loved kids,
Large small or tids,
She was always greedy,
Never mind the needy,
She thought they were seedy,
But I was crazy about her.
I loved her so much,
Loved her touch,
Loved her tongue,
Loved her face,
Loved her grace,
Loved her hair,
But she loved my chair
I was devoted.
She sat on my lap,
Took off my cap,
Licked my face,
What a disgrace,
She wagged her tail,
I got flailed,
Then she died,
My darling old Labrador.
