Minmet plc (the "Company"), the Irish based, AIM and IEX listed natural resource
company announces that it was informed on 20 December 2006 that, on the same
day, Michael Nolan, Director and CEO, purchased 2,591,667 ordinary shares of EUR
0.0125 each in Minmet plc ("Ordinary Shares") at Stg0.43p per ordinary share to
bring his holding to 3,900,000 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.28%
of the issued share capital of the Company.
