"So the mm who dealt appears to want it to be seen as a sell rather than
a buy....did'nt even appear in the ? column......
Did he do it or is it some quirk of the system?"
I’ve always been led to believe that it is the site’s software that indicates whether it is a buy, sell or otherwise via, I assume, a mechanism which estimates what the trade is as per what the mid price is.
It’s always confused me why it is such a state secret whether a trade is a buy or a sell and why there should be any such possibility of leading investors astray by giving off wrong signals. Your buy is a classic example. It is a buy, yet posted as a sell. It's hard to say whether this is done for a specific reason, but you can't help some people thinking it is for devious purposes.
Why oh why the trade streamed from the source can’t be confirmed as a buy or a sell at the time defeats me.
On another matter, I started this thread a while ago which I moderated to get rid of the bitter posters...mostly all one person I assume.
If you can’t get it via the link, type in MNT in the box next to the word EPIC and tap the enter button, you should get a list of all the MNT threads that have been started. Trust this helps.
