Admirable optimism Allin, but Pallas Green is years away from production, and Minco will run out of money long before then. Perhaps Xstrata may buy Minco's stake, but Minco will be in a very weak barganing position.
Personally I will look for an opportunity to get out of this share without too big a loss. There will probably be a few price spikes on misplaced market optimism.
Credit where it's due. Some people on this thread realised long ago that the review of Laguna was simply an excuse not to bring it into production, which Minco clearly has no intention of ever doing.
Like any other shareholder I will be delighted to learn of progress at Laguna, but I don't expect any. To Minco's directors the shareholders are just there to provide them with money to continue with their hobby of drilling holes in the ground. Minco is just RT's plaything, not a genuine business.
Sad to admit that investing in Minco was a grave mistake, but time to face facts. It will just be drilling, drilling, drilling then receivership.
