Still no director buying even though we are approaching another close period. If the absence of director dealings is because of any inside information it is unlikely to be related to any major deal IMHO. The most likely inside information is that Laguna is not viable and can never be mined.
I also think we should be aware of the possibility that the real intention of the directors is to use up Minco's remaining cash, then put the company into receivership in the hope that they will be able to buy the decent parts of the company on the cheap.
Does anyone know how we might be able to interest some value realisation trust in Minco? There are several around with names such as "Advanced Value Realisation Fund" or similar. These funds specialise in finding companies with good assets but incompetant management, then finding ways of replacing the directors with new directors who have shareholders interests at heart.
