A nice reminder:
Drilling Report, 23/11/05
Minco announces additional zinc and lead drill results from the Pallas Green Zinc Project. Commenting on the drill results, Matthew Dorman, CEO said, "Emerging results from the Pallas Green area suggest that there is an opportunity for the presence of more than one economic zinc deposit. We anticipate reporting a further drill update in December."
Drilling Results, 10/11/05
Minco PLC has reached agreement with Falconbridge Ltd to continue "an aggressive programme of drilling" in 2006 at their Pallas Green
zinc joint venture in Ireland, with a preliminary budget set for about 1 mln eur.
Bankable Feasibility Study, 31/10/05
"The project shows excellent returns with baseline IRR of 46% and NPV of $24 Million at a 10% discount. With continued buoyancy in the silver market and analysts' predictions of continued metal value increases in the coming years, we are well placed to benefit. We have already had a number of positive discussions with commercial banks in London regarding the project, and will be concluding discussions on the back of the bankable study."
Drilling Report, 26/09/05
"The Pallas Green drilling programme continues to provide positive results. The emerging results confirm our belief that the
Pallas Green project has the potential for more than one economic zinc discovery. We have now added a fourth drill rig to speed up the exploration and
are in discussion with our partner regarding exploration plans for 2006.'
Interim Results, 15/09/05
"We are confident that the results of the Laguna Bankable Study will be positive and indications are that project finance will be available subject to the study confirming the economic returns shown in the initial study. We expect to make an early decision on construction with production thereafter.
Preliminary exploration at Minera Sisa has progressed well and we expect to release an exploration update in the near future. The ongoing Pallas Green
drilling programme has already proved that this is an exciting project which is further enhanced by zinc price rise in the past twelve months.
Over the next 12 months we hope to be near to production at Laguna. During this time the ongoing work programmes on Pallas Green and Minera Sisa will continue.
In addition, the acquisitions currently under review could enhance the value of your Company significantly. Our vision is to be in the top 15 silver producing companies in the world through dynamic growth within 5 years.
Analyst Research, 10/08/05
"On that basis we arrive at a sum of the parts valuation for Minco of 41.35 million pounds (30p per share) pre-exercise of warrants and options or 44.1 million pounds (27.3p per share) assuming full conversion.
Drilling Report, 08/08/05
"The success to date of the Pallas Green drilling programme confirms our belief that the project is one of the best zinc
assets in Ireland today. As much of the area still remains relatively unexplored, a third drill rig is to be added to the exploration programme
immediately. We believe that the Pallas Green Alteration Trend holds significant potential for an economic zinc discovery."
Increased Resource, 06/06/05
"The increase in resources at La Laguna reinforces our decision to increase the plant design throughput from 1 million tonnes per annum to 1.25 million tonnes. We also believe there is a considerable potential for additional resources in the tailings around the lake which we will evaluate at a later date."
