Mo ore content is 0.019%; Mo content in Molybdenum concentrate is 48%

From Metal Tech's perspective it doesn't matter that Mo ore content is 0.019% (fairly low grade but not unusual)as its JV company Shim Technology's role is converting Molybdenum concentrate supplied by Erdenet(22 year supply agreement)into higher added value Molybdenum products which are then sold to Metal Tech.
However what is interesting is that from the recent statement it appears that Erdenet have significantly improved on the 24% Moly recovery rate from the ore (quoted in the first link for 2004 & 2005) enabling more concentrate to be processed. Presumably this is as a result of the new leaching facility discussed in the Bateman Engineering report.
