Although production from Emery Hudson declined during the period,operations to resume in Q3 2006.

Anthony Mason, Chief Executive of Meridian said:

'2005 was a difficult year for Meridian as developments at Emery Hudson stalled the company's progress but this should not detract from some more recent achievements.

I am optimistic about Meridian's prospects: we are making real progress on the Calvin field and have drilling plans in place for Emery Hudson and Orion.
