They certainly are not designed to be fatuous or any other new word you have found, but try telling a bank that their small print is fatuous and incorrect.
I would honestly and politely suggest that some people here are living in cloud cuckoo land and would be better suited to investing in a building society but where even then they should be mindful of legal interpretation of contracts or wording.
These are AIM shares, a comparative high risk area of the Stock Market, but where IMHO MRP represent a low risk investment for the long term.
If you really feel strongly that MRP are not to be trusted or a con, then why are you here at all?
Argument of being 'locked in' really would not hold if an investor really thought a company was really a con. but took no action.
