Meridian Petroleum PLC : Onwards into 2007/2008
Investorjon - Mon, 18 Dec 06 :
Sorry Doug but you are wrong. Read the RNS. It does NOT state it would take 'up to three weeks' for the signature. The three weeks is for circulation to the signatories. The time for the Meridian's signature is I quote: "Date to be announced, but expected before year end"
It's not about defending TM Sussex, and as I recall it was you being rather jubilant in your posting about MRP a little while back and about buying many more shares rather than me where you inferred it was the best thing since sliced bread, but apparently a memory lapse and you jump back to mentioning postings before those?
It is also not about defending TM, but about 'the truth' as I would defend others, and as I defended Tommo's rights as a shareholder.
The fact is that Doug was wrong in his interpetation, look for yourself so it has nothing to do with defending TM or anyone else, but merely about the facts:

Having been agreed by the State and the governing body ATLA, the Agreement is
now being circulated to the nine native title signatories under the Agreement,
with the process expected to take up to three weeks. Following this the
Agreement will be returned to the State for signature with completion on
Meridian's signature, date to be announced, but expected before year end. At
that time a formal ceremony with the Australian Minister of Mines and Energy
will be held.
