Seem to recall a reference to them as they possibly operate in the same region and appear to have some potentially good assets; so somebody, I think, suggested some parallels. Can't really put my finger on it.
Seems thus far that MAX is starred. Floated at 35p, now two months later it's 105p. It's got rights over acreage holding oodles of oil, it's got management who know the territory, the locals, the local ways, the government, the laws, and the social system like the back of their hands, it's recruited a first class team of experts from a competitor on the back of its enormous potential, and to cap it all it's about to get its paws on a big gas field. Not without risk, but what stock isn't? I'd guess that MAX will be one of the very best stocks of 2006.
