larsen, re the good news being held back, I hope you are right, and in reading i did feel that might be possible. These institutions are v greedy arent they!
The self funding note I thought was less positive than previously, as you said they are getting far less bpd than forecast ( approximately half and that is after already revising downward )and they have not completed the number of wells they expected. East Alibek is being pushed back ( completion wise ). I know lots of this can be considered small beer in the overall scheme of things.
