I was watching the price rise today but was confused by the volume figures.By 9 or 10 a.m. the price had risen about 5% but the sells out weighed the buys - at one point about 250,000 buys to 400,000 sells,then around 300,000 buys to 500,000 sells. By the end of the day buys were increasing -1,290,050 to 1,467,784 sells but the main price increase occurred when the increased volume seemed to me to be sells. I would really appreciate comments and views on this, I'm very much a learner - if I've misread the info it would be really good to understand why.
