wbj - Date of RECORD is different from ex dividend dates due to the normal market settlement of 3 days. Therefore you need to be holding at the end of the third day before the date of record (ie Tuesday for d-o-r Friday) to get the divi.

In this instance we would normally have:

with Dividend Date Tue 27
ex Dividend Date Wed 28
Record Date Fri 30

But as you can't trade again until next Wednesday you actually need to be holding them now!
