"YOU ARE BEING WATCHED, fron 2006 Britain will be the first country where EVERY journey by CAR will be monitored".
Using a network of cameras that can (once they are converted) automatically read every passing number plate, the plan is to build a huge database of vehicle movements so the police and security services can analyse any journey a driver has made over several years.
The cops are to sign deals with petrol stations/ supermarkets and the highways agency to incorporate thier CCTV cameras into the network.

I wonder if the cops would also like to talk to TFC ?

Its sold as a way of catching crimanals who yous cars to do the crime ....... i would have thought that a half clever crook would change the car number plate before setting out !!!.

I looked at the company last night after reading the paper and was lucky enought to be at the computer when the N E Directors buy news came throught. Needless to say i bought in.
