Started the new year with the hump mac, had a ftse short on for sometime which I've just closed at a loss and have a couple of positions in TPK short which are running high losses due to its meteoric rise over the past couple of weeks, still think its well over valued so am holding nervously. Long in TRX again at 48.5 and I'm flirting with shorting rmv and mrw. Got a long in VED from mid 11's which I'll let run. Still wondering when the markets are going to have a correction. Seems to me there are an awful amount of overvalued companies out there and that investors are backing sentiment over value. Cant carry on. Running on from your comments, I had a few beers over xmas with an old friend who's a prison officer in a secure wing that houses the real scum of society, paedophiles etc. Him and all the staff are at breaking point with all the liberal rules that they have to govern by. They have to listen to these animals describe what they've done in 'group sessions' then report their complaints like only having a choice of 3 cereals at breakfast and the heating being 1 deg out. He's had enough and has decided to play them at their own game and is currently seeking legal advice over the fact he wasn't offerred the correct trainig and councelling to take these sessions. Crazy, would have been easier to shoot the bastards. According to him loads of officers are having breakdowns, panic attacks and on prescribed drugs. Think we should victorianise the prisons, or just move all the dregs of society to wales and build a large electric fence on the border, with machine gun nests, minefields and pit bulls ! Should have made saddam head of homeland security here instead of hanging the bastard.
