In an idle moment I have been looking at a number of historic share charts, one of which was LPA. From henry999 posts I note that the share price seems to be almost exactly where the share was when the current CEO joined the company back in 1997. So if you held for that period you have lost 10 years worth of interest if you had left the money in the bank. If I had held for that length of time I would be very unhappy, but this performance does not seem to worry the long term family holders henry999 refers to. Hence I agree with TSTL that a takeover or any radicle change is unlikely.
henry999, glad to hear that you have been able to recoup some of your paper losses. If the last RNS was anything to go by I don't think we should expect too much from the results in the way of forward guidance.
