The ten came from Glenn Borthwick on this thread. He stated he believed Lo-Q would be in ten parks in 2007.
Where Glenn got this claim he never said, and he like me has followed this stock since Ofex days and he said he didn't see this legal shocker coming either.
I gave up the Varsity match to listen to the conference and there was zilch in it for Lo-Q, at which point I knew there was no point in investing, so how I can now be deramping a company I am not going to invest in is a tad bemusing.
This is a loss that was not in the forecasts Glenn made previously, (and i have always respected his estimates and stance as he is a close follower) so my daring to suggest this unexpected loss is less than 'good news' is 'deramping'? LOL!
As to whether the Palm claim was spurious, as there is to be no case we will never know how it would have played out. The fact remains Lo-Q paid out.
At least the news is out of the way and I hope that will mean the seven parks become reality and Glenn's future forecasts are not hit by any further shocks and holders make money, even though i still think the sell (or otherwise) of the 'parks package' needs to be clarified asap as it could have an impact on Lo-Q's medium term profit outlook.
