TheRake, where you're going wrong here is assuming LPG/LDP (are you American BTW or just coincidentally using the US epic?) is fairly valued at the moment (all IMO of course). If this was the case, you'd be right with your analysis. But at the moment it's trading well below the value of just the private and public equity + cash, so must be a LONG way below NAV. So in response to 'What else is there with any prospect of boosting LDP ? ', may I suggest common sense? If that isn't enough for you (picky fellow :-)), there's the prospect of a myofficeonline deal with a major financial institution. Such a contract would be worth $100M/year in earnings (possibly much more) and whilst it's a little bit pie in the sky and not something to buy the company solely on the strength of, they have nearly clinched one such deal already but it was scuppered by a takeover bid for the company in question. There's also the fact that we haven't had an IPO for a while. This is understandable in the current tech climate, but bearing in mind LPG is a late stage VC company and they haven't had an IPO for several months, I think there's probably a fair number of companies in the private portfolio that will be coming to market as soon as we have a strong hint of stabilisation/recovery.

As to rules of thumb for the other shares, you can work them out quite easily for yourself using the same method as for NUFO: go to the website and click on holdings. The values are from October 31st I think, but they should be exactly the same now, with the possible exception of NETP (too small to bother with anyway) and VTSS, some of which might have been sold in the meantime.
