Surely the supermarkets have been in general retail for years now so I don't see why their competition this year should be any worse than previous. With stock problems hopefully sorted this year WLW should have had a clear run on sales and seem to me locally to have done a pretty good job generally.
I suppose the anal-ysts have to say something though. I think the ones to be squeezed will be the clothing fashion chains, furniture and SBRY and Morrisons.
Still hoping to get WLW under 40p though but not looking likely now.
