LET IT BE THUS AND ONLY THUS

So, what does this mean for Thus from May 2004?
Old news but as we move into 2004, the news becomes more interesting and worthy of checking out:-

"LONDON (AFX) - GKN PLC said Roy Brown will be appointed chairman with effect from May 20, 2004 following the company's AGM, to replace Sir David Lees who is retiring.
Brown is currently the chairman of Thus PLC, and non-executive deputy
chairman of HMV Group PLC.
In a statement, the company also announced the appointment of Baroness Sarah Hogg as deputy chairman with effect from Dec 1. She is currently chairman of 3i Group PLC and Frontier Economics Ltd."

Why would GKN want Thus's chariman from May 20th 2004, while he stays Chairman of Thus, unless some business/financial strategical plans were afoot. IMHO. -My reasoning: -
Just after Thus in March 2004 starts to show its on its way to being a very profitable company, Roy Brown becomes Chairman of GKN, [a very big company which is into mergers and acquisitons] while Brown stays on as chairman of Thus, and Baroness Sarah Hog while still being chairman of 3i group plc and chairman of Frontier Economics becomes his Deputy.
Hence, IMHO this is a very well thought out forward thinking strategical business plan, and is based on Thus's statements that they are always looking for opportunities that will increase growth and profits and the fact that GKN are always looking for acquisitions and mergers to increase their growth and profits too..
