LEADCOM, a real growth company.
PapalPower - Mon, 18 Dec 06 :
No point to Motorola buying.
Leadcom is neutral, in that they work with all of them, whether its Nokia/Siemens, Ericsson, Motorola, ZTE, Alcatal etc.....
Leadcom performs the functions that these players do not want to do as it distracts from their core business. In a similar way as an example to say local councils subcontracting all their work out. Its easier and cheaper and a lot less hassle than doing it yourself.
Now, there could be interest from one of Leadcom's competitors, that would be a US based company and given Leadcom's performance and status, set up and prospects in India, it would make sense for them to buy out Leadcom.
Imagine a Nasdaq listed US company, bolting on all the potential and performance of Leadcom. They could in effect triple their money by a de facto movement of Leadcom from AIM to Nasdaq through acquiring the company.
I do not want that to happen, as holders would not get the true value for the potential, it may offer a quick buck, but you lose out on the bang.
