I don't know a great deal about LEAD. However this kind of price movement feels very familiar. I think there was a psychology experiment where subjects were shown some randomly moving balls - rather like Brownian motion - and the subjects found themselves coming up with all sorts of reasons why the balls were moving. Although the reason for LEAD's fall isn't random, I think it's important not to over-interpret. As they say, there are a million reasons to sell and one reason to buy. I think people sometimes underestimate the impact of an institution dump, and overestimate the reasoning behind the dumping decision. Though like many people on this board, I find it surprising that there hasn't been an RNS or two - not just to cover the sales, but also the purchases.
