Suffers the same problem as QXL IMO - good idea, crap implementation. Tried to buy a holiday online in August last year. I spent 2 hours searching, mainly because the search engine didn't work properly and the site was so damn slow. When I did find a holiday at 250 per person, it turned out you have to book over the phone (hello? Why put it on the internet then?). Decided to try a company on teletext pages instead and in 5 minutes they'd sorted a holiday in exactly the place I wanted to go for 100 quid less. I got 3 more quotes, which were all significantly less than Lastminute's prices. Can't see how they will ever make money like this. Should be at a significant discount to cash in hand I reckon.
