nghomi - yes you're right and I do feel for other folks who've lost more than me and can't make it back - it might be 'only money' but it (or the lack of it) does alter people's lives.
SOLA - a fantastic growth story with a long way to go. But it has gone up a heck of a lot in a short time so could easily duck down to say 380p before rising again. I see it doubling from here in a year.
Maybe in the short term LEAD is a better investment. Can't believe that so few folks have picked up on it yet. Probably on a P/E of less than 10 at present for 2007. AND ( and this is where I think so many peeps go wrong), you already have an RNS stating $14.5-$15m pretax for 2006 with around $140m turnover + directors forecasting at least $180m turnover for 2007.
BUT the biggy is the enormous contracts that LEAD are likely to get in India in the next few months. - both could amount to as much as $300m each over several years and the first could be announced by the end of January. And LEAD obviously confident they'll get the contracts from Ericson,Nokia etc. They've taken on quite a few staff for India already AND obtained $30m in finance from bonds for it. So no dilution at all.
Of course they are Israeli .... ( though most of the shares held by UK insts now)
Only problem is that the bonds are issued by the Bank of Brazil and they may sell the contracts on .. (only joking)
